Heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos knows that he will be in for the war of his life when he takes on Frank Mir this Saturday night in the main event of UFC 146.

Since defeating Cain Velasquez for the UFC title last year, dos Santos has been on the sidelines, recovering from knee surgery.

Now, after having his original opponent – Alistair Overeem – switched to Mir, “Cigano” is ready to go to battle.

“Out of all the UFC heavyweights, I think Frank Mir was the most qualified,” said dos Santos, during “Dos Santos: Inside My Training Camp.”I had my camp set up with a lot of strikers. Against Frank Mir, things will be a a lot different. I already fixed my camp, things are going great. I have a lot of skilled guy here would can help me a lot.”

Dos Santos has been working at a camp in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil alongside the likes of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, a former foe of Mir’s.

While Mir has been known as a submission specialist, dos Santos has taken to the knockout skill, delivering 10 of his career 14 wins via KO. Mir, on the other hand, has won nine of his 16 fights by submission.
