Julio Juarez Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, located in Santa Clarita, California, offers professional level instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Men, Women and Children. We are an affiliate academy of the Jean Jacques Machado Jiu-Jitsu Association. At Julio Juarez Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (JJBJJ) our main focus is our students. We help our students to improve their fitness along with learning the art of self-defense. If you are a beginner, or advance student , we have the tools to help you improve your Jiu Jitsu.

Classes are taught by Julio Juarez, a BJJ Blackbelt under Jean Jacques Machado. Julio received his Blackbelt in 2009, and is still and active member at Jean Jacques BJJ Academy. At JJBJJ, you will learn all the techniques that help Julio earn his Blackbelt from one of the best competitor and instructor of BJJ.

The United Self-Defense System, most popularized as American Karate, is a mixture of Shotokan Karate, Japanese Karate, Shito Ryu, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Kickboxing, JKD, Kung Fu, Boxing, Russian Sambo, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Ju-Jitsu, Aikido, Wrestling, Shoot Wrestling, Grappling and Arnis and Kali. Add a cage, full contact and some rules, and you are a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter.

The goal of USDA is to move with the times and problems of the real world; therefore, we evolve and are always in a state of improvement. There are no set movements that date back 200 years. KTown Boxing Club is a boxing gym for private clients and professional fighters located in the heart of Los Angeles in Koreatown. We are also open to the community during public hours. Private Hours are by appointment only, in which our gym is closed to everyone else except for you and your trainer to train privately. We also provide fighters who train at KTown Boxing Club under the KTown Boxing Team with their boxing career management services.

In our public classes, you can learn traditional boxing techniques that paved the way for many boxers who made boxing history. Take your best shot with our boxing techniques program. Harbor Kickboxing is a mixed martial arts academy in San Pedro, California, with an open minded approach to several fighting disciplines. The instructors at HK reflect this statement with their wide assortment of martial arts expertise. Many of the instructors at Harbor Kickboxing have trained at the original Filipino Kali Academy of America,which was the first school opened by two of Bruce Lee’s students, Guru Dan Inosanto and Sifu Richard Bustillo. Some have trained at their separate schools the Inosanto Academy and the IMB Academy.

Sifu Brad Olsen was born and raised in San Pedro. He attended San Pedro High School and graduated in 1973. He then joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Fulda, Germany as a tank gunner. His martial arts training formally started at the Filipino Kali Academy of America under the instruction of Sifu Dan Inosanto and Sifu Richard Bustillo, who were both students of the late martial arts legend, Bruce Lee.

Because of the high quality of fighters from so many backgrounds that were attracted to the IMB academy Sifu Brad had the opportunity to train and spar with many talented fighters and instructors over the years. Sifu Brad Olsen is proud to be one of them. Sifu Olsen trained and taught at the IMB academy in Torrance. for many years before being promoted to Full instructor under Sifu Bustillo. His training included extensive research and training in the arts of Western Boxing, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, Kali, Jeet Kune Do,Tae Kwan Do,and Lima Lama.

Sifu Olsen has trained at many gyms and Dojos over the years. In 1998 Sifu Olsen was appointed by Grandmaster Richard Bustillo to work with the L.A.P.D. in a gang prevention program called Jeopardy. He was assigned to conduct an after school martial arts program at Gompers middle school located in Central Los Angeles. It was a highly successful and respected program where he worked with hundreds of at risk youth over a five year period. He was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2003 for his work with the Jeopardy program. He is currently a licensed fight manager and trainer with the California State Athletic Commission and has cornered several professional Boxing and MMA events. His fighters compete at amateur and professional levels.
