Predator MMA Academy, located in the Sunset Station Shopping Center in Bear, Delaware, offers training opportunities in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) for adults and children; and, Pekiti Tirsia Kali (A Filipino Combat survival System) for adults only.

We currently also offer a “Women Only” BJJ course on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Triple Threat Combat Sports in Newark, Delaware, offers No Gi grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training for children and adults as well as Mixed Martial Arts training (currently adults only). With our affiliation with Eddie Bravo, our school is also known as 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu- Newark!

Our training sessions are designed for all experience and fitness levels. We compete in No Gi grappling and BJJ nationally ranked tournaments and Mixed Martial Arts Fights. Everyone who trains with us has the opportunity to participate. If you chopse to do so, our staff will prepare you both physically and mentally. We will arrange logistics as well as coach and corner you during your fights.

If you choose not to compete, you are still part of the Triple Threat Team and Family. Your attendance at training makes those who do compete better. Whether you push them physically in training or simply motivate them by always giving your best each and every training session, you make them better. Their wins and losses are all of our wins and losses – At Triple Threat Combat Sports we believe that Fighting is a Team Sport, Iron Sharpens Iron and we win and lose as a Team.

We teach Self Defense seminars (Adults and Children) and Rape Prevention classes for women. These seminars and classes are offered in-house as well as at off site locations. We offer Law Enforcement and Military Hand to Hand Combat training seminars in house and at off site locations.

We also offer private and semi-private training sessions. Whether you are interested in private self defense training, want extra attention in order to train for an up coming fight or competition or if you are simply looking for a different and exciting way to get into shape privately or with a few close friends – we have what you are looking for.

302 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (302 BJJ) in Newark, Delaware, is a new school, and new look and a new attitude. This is the future of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the state of Delaware. There are so many choices you can make with your time and money, let your training choice be one you will never regret. 302 BJJ is led by Bill Walters, owner and lead instructor, teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. Bill began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu career in 1998, drawn to the sport from a background in wrestling and a love for the ground game. He competed often and placed in all but his first tournament before suffering an injury in 1999. After rehabilitating two shoulder injuries, he was back on the mat within a year and a half. In 2001, he received his blue belt. A year later, he received his purple belt and on December 17th, 2005, he proudly accepted his brown belt. He attributes his success to diligent training and dedicated training partners. Bill Walters was promoted to the rank of BLACK BELT in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on May 2nd, 2009 by Phil Migliarese.

Welcome to De Moraes Jiu-Jitsu, located in Hockessin, Delaware! De Moraes Jiu-Jitsu is an affiliate of the De La Riva Association, and operated by Master Roberto de Moraes, offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts training. Master de Moraes was born in the US to Brazilian parents. He spent much of his childhood in Brazil. When Master Roberto was 11 years old, he moved to Miami, Florida. He is fluent in English, Portugese and Spanish. Master de Moraes was trained at the prestigious Boca De La Riva school in Miami. While at Boca De La Riva, Master Roberto earned his black belt under Master Moacir “Boca” Oliveira and legendary Master Ricardo de la Riva Goded.

Master Ricardo de la Riva Goded is a fifth degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlson Gracie, Sr. Master de la Riva Goded was named one of the five best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu players by Gracie magazine and is also created with inventing the De la Riva Guard. His knowledge in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has led to Jiu-Jitsu practitioners and mixed martial artists from all over the world to request his services. Master Moacir “Boca” Oliveira is a champion grappler and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practioner who received his black belt from Master de la Riva Goded.

Master de Moraes himself has an extensive list of jiu-jitsu and grappling championships to his name. In addition to his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, Master Roberto is also an accomplished kickboxer, mixed martial arts fighter and conditioning coach. He has taught at Boca De La Riva, American Top Team and Bushido Academy.

Jack’s Kickboxing Gym in Newark, Delaware, offers instruction in Mixed Martial arts (MMA), Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, International Kickboxing, and San-Da. We also now have classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Jack Murphy, the owner, started in basement boxing in the mid 60’s and karate in the late 60’s and early 70’s. He has spent time in several different disciplines and started in kickboxing in the early 90’s. Jack started a club at his house in 1993 and opened Jack’s Kickboxing Gym in 1994; in that same year, Jack’s won its first championship and since then produced several champions and over 30 titles, and still going strong.
