At Dogpound Fight Team in Missoula, Montana, we coach everyone from the Elite Athlete to the average person just trying to get in better shape. Our classes range from no contact cardio to full contact fighting. We are a Behring Jiu Jitsu affiliate, nd we pride ourselves on being the number one fight team in the state, and back it up with more than just words.

We offer a strict training routine for our active fighters, and also offer a great work-out routine for anybody just wanting to get in shape and feel confident about defending themselves. As well as our regular practices, we offer a “Fighter Cardio” routine, three times a week. This is designed to get any fighter ready for the toughest battle, and it’ll whip anybody in shape.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club at Montana State University in Bozeman will provide training in the grappling arts from the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program. A student can expect to learn solid fundamentals and achieve a belt recognized by the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community. Classes are held in the MSU Dojo, which is located on the first floor of the Marga Hosaeus Health & PE Complex (The Gym).

Straight Blast Gym of Montana in Kallispel is a non-political organization where freedom to use and discover what actually works in real life is expressed. This is a place where individuals gather and test themselves without worry of “style” or making what actually is real life into what we think it should be.

The training we are speaking of is not an exchange of techniques as such, but actual physical training: Sweating, moving, “ALIVE” training. We are a Gym – not academy, institute, or school. We offer day and evening classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, Strength Conditioning, Cardio Conditioning, and Yoga in the Iyengar method.

Maximum Impact Martial Arts is a state-of-the-art Martial Arts training facility located in Hamilton, Montana. Our classes emphasize fun, realistic and safe training. We have age specific classes for ages 5 through adult. Darryl Johnson and Stephanie Light have nearly 40 years of teaching experience to draw from in order to maximize the learning experience. We also offer tumbling classes taught by Stephanie Light.

We have several programs to meet the needs of any child, teen or adult that is looking for fun, fitness, self-defense or combat sport competition. Here are some of our classes:

Sport MMA- teaches techniques from many styles of unarmed combat, hence the name MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). This is the style of competition popularized by the UFC.

Krav Maga- Israeli Self Defense. This is the style used by the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) to protect the troops (male and females BOTH serve in the Israeli drafted service). It specializes in simple, natural and easy to remember responses to both armed and unarmed threats. Famous for it’s defense vs. knives and firearms.

PAMAT- Our modern martial art that features techniques and tactics from both the sport side of martial arts and the reality based self defense side. Our PAMAT classes are specific by age and are graduated in demands; which means they start off easy so that anyone can train and increase in intensity and difficultly as the student progresses.

Women’s kickboxing/MMA- this class is for women ONLY. A fitness oriented class that uses the REAL techniques from kickboxing and MMA to not only learn to protect one’s self but get into great shape.

PAMAT Panthers- PAMAT training for 7-12 year old children. Lots of fun and great self defense and fitness training.

PAMAT Panther Cubs- PAMAT training for 5-6 year old children. Age specific drills and techniques to make class fun and educational.

Pee Wee PAMAT (coming soon)- PAMAT training for 3-4 year old children.
