As founder and owner, Steven Schutt brings over 16 years of Mixed Martial Arts experience to Westside MMA Combat Systems. Sensai Schutt’s background includes Karate, Aikido, Jiu Jitsu and Kick Boxing. Sensei Schutt has competed in BJJ tournaments and amateur kickboxing fights and is the head striking and conditioning coach of Westside MMA. Sensei Paul Sokolowski has 7 1/2 years of martial arts experience. Sensai Sokolowski’s background includes Karate, Aikido, Jiu Jitsu and Kick boxing. Sensei Soklowski has competed in BJJ tournaments and is the Jiu Jitsu head coach of Westside MMA.

Currently, the primary class offering at the LaClair Academy is that of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In the future, we will be offering more classes and more styles, as the school grows and students express interest in the other styles we can offer.

Our adult programs are a great way to relieve stress, get and stay in shape and learn valuable self defense skills at the same time.
