American Fight Club Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Vestavia Hills, Alabama is a Machado BJJ style, sport Jiu-Jitsu school instructed by Joe Savoian. We pride ourselves on being the only all gi, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in Alabama. We train like a traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school, and promote according to skill level with the gi.
We train as a team….ALL students are part of this team in some way, even if they are not competing. We work together to help each other get better. Instructor Joe Savoian teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a safe environment to people of all ages and physical abilities. Safety and injury prevention should be the number one goal of any teacher or coach, and as any American Fight Club student will tell you, we train hard, but we train safe. Unsafe behavior is not tolerated.
American Fight Club Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy currently meets at Berry Middle School in Vestavia Hills, just outside Birmingham.
