Welcome to the Budo Ryu Center for Fitness, Combat, & Self-Defense! We are the premier and official center for Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Koei-Kan Karate and Gracie Jiu Jitsu Training in San Luis Obispo and the Central Coast.
The Budo Ryu has two training rooms, with over 2,000 square feet of indoor training area, fully equipped with Thai-style “Banana” punch and kicking bags. Our instructors will guide you through various punch, kick, knee, elbow, and self-defense techniques and combinations.
You will sharpen your techniques by conducting drills with not only focus pads, but also Muay Thai pads, and life-like training weapons. In each training session, you can expect a complete workout including technique drills and strength and conditioning exercises!
Combining the technique drills and the strength and conditioning exercises makes this one of the best workouts around! In this program, you will learn how to deal with multiple attackers, weapons, and high stress situations.
At the Budo Ryu, you can train for general fitness, self confidence, self discipline and self defense all the way up to actual competition. It’s all available to you.
