The main goal of Clark Gracie’s Jiu-Jitsu Academy is to provide the highest level of instruction to its students. Come visit our academy and try a free class with the only member of the Gracie family teaching Jiu-Jitsu in San Diego. All are welcome to join no matter your age, athletic ability, or previous martial arts experience. You will find a clean, friendly and respectful environment. Clark Gracie was born in California into the “World renowned Gracie Family”. Currently a Brown Belt with the Carlson Gracie Team, Clark has been National Jiu-Jitsu Champions four years in a row since 2005. He was raised in both the San Francisco Bay Area and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and trained under his father, Carley Gracie (8th degree Red-and-Black Belt and Professional Undefeated National Champion from 1969-1972). Clark is the grandson of Carlos Gracie, creator of the art known today as “Gracie Jiu-Jitsu” or “Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu”. Clark Gracie was born in California into the “World renowned Gracie Family”. Gracie La Jolla Academy is currently located inside the La Jolla Sports Club in Downtown La Jolla.
