Friendly atmosphere, healthy team camaraderie, knowledgeable coaching staff. Well equipped gym in a good location to train (high elevation, 6,350 feet). Excellent hybrid stand up methods and techniques. Attended by an athletic community in a competitive town, people of all ages and sizes.

This place is RAD!!! Not only is this the best stand up gym i have ever been to in my 20 years or training but the people there are so respectful like a true martial art gym. There are always great trainers, all of them. Oh and the ground game at this gym is totally underrated. Not only that but there are a lot of big name fighters that come up to train and help out. Once you actually go inside and see how nice this place is and how good the trainers and students are you will want to be a part of ETG

  • Nino says:

This is the best place around, even the kids are gnarly. I’m not a fighter or anything but everyone is so cool and helpful at ETG, especially the fighters. I do this because it helps my Snowboarding and my motocross racing SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!

I’ve been training at Escobar Training Grounds for about over 3 years now, ever since it first opened near the Peanut Bar. To watch the progress and expansion of this school is to witness the hard-work, determination, and dedication that Corey, truly possesses for this school. Friendly atmosphere, fun, and competitive. Escobar Training Grounds is the place to be to train, learn, and grow, not only as a fighter, but as a person as well. Escobar Training Grounds is my stompin grounds…….what’s Yours!!!!!

ETG is an amazing venue for both kids and adults. My kids and I have been training there for over two years and couldn’t be happier.
For the kids, the discipline, focus and commitment to the sport/art has positively carried over into their academic, athletic and personal lives.
For me, as an endurance athlete, the MMA training has added another dimension to my fitness that I hadn’t been able reach on my own.
    Thanks ETG!!!

  • Tahoe Ted says:

I came in as a true beginner and was very impressed by how quickly I improved in jujitsu, boxing/kickboxing, and grappling with their coaching and classes. My cardio stamina improved dramatically and helped me a great deal with motocross racing and completing the tough mudder squaw. ETG is ran by an incredibly professional and friendly staff. It’s an awesome group comradarie environment where everyone (especially the fighters on the team) will help you learn, improve and reach your goals. 5 stars.
