Gracie Barra Costa Mesa in California is an official Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in the Gracie Barra family. Gracie Barra is the life works of extraordinary individuals like Mitsuyo Maeda (Count Koma), Carlos Gracie Sr., Rolls Gracie, and Carlos Gracie Jr. The legacy of Gracie Barra is now being passed to a new generation of Jiu-Jitsu practitioners that share the vision of Master Carlos Gracie.
Gracie Barra Costa Mesa (GBCM) opened in 2005 and has steadily grown to encompass a student base that consists of members as young as 4 years of age and as old as 75 years of age. Besides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we offer Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, and Judo training (in conjunction with the Orange County Judo Training Center).
Located in the heart of Orange County California, GBCM is easily accessed from Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Newport Beach and Huntington Beach. Our program structure allows anyone to learn Jiu-Jitsu. Whether your goal is physical fitness, self defense or to become a high-level competitor you will find that you will be able to accomplish these life goals at GBCM.
