Orange Coast College’s Mixed Martial Arts Club’s mission is to provide any student with an introduction to the basic fundamentals and proper school-of-thought for training in mixed martial arts (MMA). Also, we will show you how to choose a legitimate gym/academy to join. The MMA Club is taught by well-rounded mixed martial artists with years of experience and appearances by occasional guest instructors.
At each meeting. we cover two disciplines with an average of three techniques per discipline, followed by live sparring or grappling. Our disciplines strictly include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Wrestling. Although the mentioned disciplines are what we strictly train, individuals of other martial arts backgrounds are welcome as they tend to learn our disciplines rapidly. Egos are checked at the door.
