Shamrock MMA- Downtown San Jose, located at the San Jose Athletic Club, gives those in the Downtown area an even more convenient place to start training! Shamrock MMA is a modern martial arts style created by Frank Juarez Shamrock, five-time undefeated UFC Champion, former King of Pancrase, and multiple world record holder in mixed martial arts. This style represents the culmination of over 15 years of study in professional combative martial arts and martial arts instruction. Shamrock MMA is designed to be a complete scientific, holistic, and physical application for teaching the art of Mixed Martial Arts.
Additionally, this style was created specifically to develop ones self to be a complete professional martial artist in all areas of instruction and competition. All the aspects of traditional martial arts remain in place as this martial study involves an exploration of the body and mind with theoretical concepts and practical training applications for competition or group instruction.
