I injured my shoulder and had surgery and had to stop training. I felt like the company could have been more empathetic about that but only wanted money, but that is my personal opinion.
They over charged me for a month and were unwilling to correct the problem. Ultimatey, it was bad service. Also, it is small gym with several years old equipment.
All the instructors have a stick up their ass and think they are big s**t. The guy that gives you a tour of this gym is so rude. I was there for about 3 months and did not learn a thing.
I have to disagree with the above posts. In January 2010 I dislocated my elbow wrestling (at another location) and there was no problem suspending my membership, and in addition I was permitted to watch the classes during the time I could not participate. As to learning at Victory my jujitsu knowledge has improved tremendously as has my flexibility and strength, and despite being older than most of the participants, if not all of them, the instructors and members have gone out of their way to help me with techniques and conditioning to further my progress in jujitsu and wrestling. No one has an ego there, not the instructors, not the members. If you are not learning, it is only because you are not on the mat. There 7 day a week classes at multiple times of the day as well as their easy transit access (routes, 8,9,35) make this an excellent gym in which to train and achieve your objectives whether they be jujitsu and wrestling (my objectives) or MMA, crossfit, Yoga, Muay Thai, or Boxing for those in to these sports. The value for the money is excellent.
This Gym Sucks! Never again even if it was free!
