Tommy’s Gym started in 1995 as a small martial arts school in Newport Beach, California with boxing instruction on the weekends. The facility back then was an 1800 square foot floor with a few heavy bags and a speed bag. After having expanded a few times, most recently August 2004, the gym is now a 9000 square foot facility in Costa Mesa that houses a weight room, main floor for classes, kickboxing and martial arts room, half-court basketball, and a 3,000 square foot boxing gym.

Members at Tommy’s Gym range in ages from 13-60+ and come from all walks of life, from local surfers to business professionals to the pro boxers training for their next bouts. A variety of personal training programs and classes are offered by over a dozen trainers who are dedicated to meeting and exceeding fitness goals, whether it is to be a competitive boxer, drop body fat, get in shape for an upcoming event, or just maintain overall fitness.
