High Desert Martial Arts is the finest school in the Grand Junction, Colorado area, dedicated to making your Martial Arts experience enjoyable and satisfying. Our instructors are the best. They have studied and trained for years to qualify as part of the High Desert Martial Arts Team, and their primary goal is to assist you in being the best you can be. Our carefully structured programs go far beyond punching, blocking, and kicking.
Whether you want to train like a UFC Fighter, get in shape, or provide your child with improved self esteem and focus, High Desert Martial Arts provides unique and safe training with emphasis on the individual and their goals. This approach is consistent in our Adult and Age Specific Children’s programs: Jeet Kune Do – Total Defense, Eskrima/Silat, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai/MMA and Fitness. We will help you acquire effective self-defense skills and provide you with a comprehensive, personal development program. It is our goal to raise the quality of life for all our students in every way possible.
Students, as individuals, are different in size, physical ability, interest level, and goals. We take a unique approach to martial arts training, focusing more on the individual and less on the style in which they study. Therefore, our classes draw from many martial arts disciplines.

My experience at High Desert Martial Arts was amazing! Not only were the staff friendly, but their continued training allowed them to teach the kids not only martial arts but also helped them to gain confidence especially when dealing with bullies! If you are looking for a place that you will learn, have fun, be safe, High Desert Martial Arts is the place to go!!!
Even for me, the adult programs in MMA, kickboxing and fitness allowed me to push my limits in a safe and fun environment!
