  1. C3 Athletics says:

C3 Athletics is a fairly new MMA gym in Stamford, CT. I really like them. They have boxing classes, brazilian jiu jitsu and muay thai classes. I would absolutely recommend them to a friend.

  2. Jeffrey says:

Did a trial class there. Its just like the gym not alot of structure or Discipline

  3. Sean says:

I have been a member from the very start of C3, I have to say there is a lot structure and discipline. If I remember correctly the Thai boxing team is 10-1 on the year and the BJJ team under 3rd degree black belt Cesar has won or placed in 4-5 competitions this year. If its structure your looking for try a BJJ class.

  4. Bill says:

I can proudly say that I am one of C3’s original members and am excited for the approaching 1 year anniversary (June 11, 2011). Being one of the original members, I’ve seen the place grow and start to find it’s identity. I came to C3 having had trained brazilian jiu jitsu and muay thai previously, so I had certain criteria that I was looking for in a gym to train. I wanted a gym with knowledgeable instructors, check, clean and with great equipment, check, a great atmosphere, check, a place where I could be part of a team, check, and all at a reasonable cost, double check! The members at C3 are treated like members of a club, not just clients paying dues and the owners take the feedback from the members seriously and reinvest in the club to make it better. While C3 is a new MMA gym, it’s already been a successful gym. Earlier this year, we had 7 fighters compete on an amateur fight card on Long Island and left with a 6-1 record. The brazilian jiu jitsu program keeps getting more and more competitive and it’s not uncommon to see 2 or more black belts on the mats. The program is lead by a 3rd degree black belt from Brazil who has great enthusiasm, energy, and a wealth of experience. Training at C3 is a pleasure and there are so many available classes that it’s crazy. It’s a good group of people who get along both in the gym and outside. So come on down and try a class. I’ll be looking for you.
