Gracie Barra South Jax is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy located in Jacksonville, Florida, and headed by Roberto Cuartero III. Head Instructor Roberto Cuartero began his Jiu Jitsu training in 2000, and is currently a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Gracie Barra Black Belt 2x World Champion Aparecido “Bill” Faria. Prof. Bill has been a close friend and mentor. For the last four years he has also been Certified as a Coach under World Shooto Champion and UFC Veteran Coach Erik Paulson in the CSW system. Roberto has competed in Local, State, and World tournaments.

Prof. Roberto is an outstanding instructor. His facility is top notch and is run in the highest tradition of the Gracie Barra family. Training here will make you better no matter what your level is!

I currently tried out their free class. and it was just as they say it was free, fun, interesting i learned alot just in that one class. Roberto is a very fun person to have around and even great to talk to. everybody there is nice and they are good people i am DEFINITELY coming back there to start my BJJ Training and i hope anyone who reads this will too trust me its fun and its an great learning environment!
