At South Florida Boxing’s South Beach Gym in Miami Beach, classes are taught everyday of the week by professional trainers or professional fighters in boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, muay thai and MMA. Members will experience an authentic, safe and fun workout at different hours of the day. They are one (1) hour in length, consisting of 5 minutes warm-up and stretch, 45 minutes of intense “bag work” and 10 minutes of abs and stretch and cool down. Everyone will have his or her own heavy bag. Members may occasionally share a bag on busy days. Classes are very intense with great music and constant “resistance training” from the heavy bags.
Our South Beach facility is an 8,000 sq ft air conditioned gym, equipped with Men and Ladies locker rooms with shower facilities and lockers, and features 60 heavy bags (150 lbs.), two speed bags stations, two double end bag and four uppercut bags. We have two Full sized boxing rings, Complete Free weights (barbells and dumbells) and “Body Master” machines, Treadmills (with their own individual TV’s), stationary bicycles, Elliptical machine and stair stepper.
Classes are open to all levels from beginners to advanced. Both beginners and advanced members will learn fundamental boxing or kickboxing techniques, lose weight, gain strength and increase their overall cardio fitness. All classes put you through the training of a fighter. All consist of interval training, strength training and explosive training. They are always different/never the same – but always the training of a fighter.
