Barry Stephen’s Karate and Kickboxing Center is a member of the National Association of Professional Martial Arts and the National Black Belt Club. We have studios located in East and West Boca Raton, and soon in Coral Springs, Florida. We offer a wide variety of adults and childrens classes. Our adults classes consist of Karate, Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, and Kickboxing.
These classes are designed to help you get into the best shape of your life while teaching you invaluable self-defense skills. Our childrens classes utilize martial arts as a way of instilling key values, teaching self-defense skills, and having fun at the same time. We aim to instill effort and concentration, character and self-esteem, sincerity and respect, and self-control and etiquette.

The first thing that you notice when you walk in is the stink. Smells like a dirty gym sock. Now, I get it’s a gymm, but, hey, mop the floors.
I found out later that the place is not mopped daily like you would expect a gym would be.
The second thing that you see, is the instructor is nasty to some of his students.
I have heard him tell his students that they are stupid, that they make him miserable, that they are fat, that they stink.
Huh….is that how a sensi is supposed to act? Woudl you really want someoen like that teaching your kids?
The next thing you will see is Lack fo control. Students that don’t know how to pull punches. Students of higher belts attacking students of lower belts,who had never spared before, because ‘he hit me that hard’. So instead of taking the time to teach him, you just beat the snot out of him? WOW>
