BeeActive Gym in Batesville, Indiana is proud to offer two new programs at our fitness center: We will now be holding sessions of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a ground based martial art, and submission wrestling, the type of wrestling you see in mixed martial arts, or UFC fights. The classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm; the first hour of instruction will be on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, while the second hour willl focus on Submission Wrestling Techniques.
These classes are a great way to get in shape, learn self defense, or enjoy a new sport! Joe Sunderhaus, the instructor, trained with the Indiana University Jiu Jitsu team, as well as several gyms in the area. He plans to have students who are interested competing at tournaments in only a few months!
