BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

At Corral’s Martial Arts, our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is what we specialize in. Our academy is known for its technical ability on the mat. Our academy has the highest-ranking instructors in the region. Our students consist of all ages and we offer classes for beginners to advanced. We guarantee results or your money back! [greater energy level - weight loss - muscle toning - elevated self-esteem - confidence building]

SPORT JIU–JITSU

We have a large sport jiu-jitsu following. We offer 3 classes a day for beginners to advance. You can always find 20 to 30 students on the mat. Sport Jiu-Jitsu has become America’s most popular art and is continuing to grow. Sport Jiu-Jitsu is similar to Judo, but with 90% of the match on the ground. Competitors sparring on the mat are trying to submit their opponent with a variety of chokes, arm-locks, leg-locks, and position control.

MMA TRAINING

Our academy also offers full-contact training. This training is much more challenging and requires 100% commitment. The student is taught a combination of arts: incorporating stand-up, no-gi training, and take-downs. This is an excellent training regimen for local law enforcement and anyone who has the desire to enter the ring and become the next Ultimate Fighter.

Belt ranks start at whitebelt, and progress through blue, purple, brown, and then black. It generally takes about 2-3 years of training multiple times per week to be promoted to the next belt rank. However, there is no formal rank test. Instead, rank is about the ability to apply Jiu-Jitsu techniques in a competitive match. A student generally needs to be able to reliably defeat most other students at a given rank in order to be promoted to the next rank.
