Lucas Martial Arts Academy in Bedford, Indiana, offers something for everyone! Often People worry that martial arts training encourages violence. The students of Lucas Martial Arts Academy are taught that their training is to be used for defense only. As the body develops so does the mind, martial arts students build confidence while training and learn modesty, concentration, patience and perseverance. This approach to the martial arts can provide a medium for great personal growth and physical fitness for all ages!
Greg Lucas started his Martial Arts training in 1986, and opened his school in 1992. Greg holds the following: 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, 2nd Degree Black Belt in Hapkido, 2nd Degree Reiki Healing Arts, and a Purple Belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu (from Carlos Caique Elias). He is a certified AAU Coach & Referee, Certified Red Cross in Community first aid and CPR, and a Martial Arts Instructor at Indiana University’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club.
