I have to say I was skeptical to start training martial arts of any kind. I am not much of a ” normal ” gym type of guy and a friend told me I should check out bjj. I searched my area online and found two local academies. I tried an intro course and each. I found the instructor at Simmler BJJ to be patient and over my first three visits I saw that he was not going to ” throw me to wolves ” so-to-speak. That was over a year ago and I have been training 2-3 times a week since and I am in the best shape of my life.
Training BJJ at Simmler BJJ has made a huge difference in both my personal and professional life. My confidence, ambition to get better have carried off the mats in to my office and home life. I have nothing but great thing to say about all the instructors and teammates that I have at Simmler BJJ. If you a casual practitioner like myself or desires to take your game to the next level this is the place.
