Camp Undefeated is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan near Grand Central Station, Bryant Park and Times Square. The Camp’s doors opened November 2007 with a 700 square foot matted area, full size cage and 1000 square feet weight training area. After the first year, it was apparent the Camp needed to expand. Camp Undefeated moved to 250 W 40th Street in January 2009. The new facility boasts 1700 square feet of mat space, a separate bag area, 400 square feet for the full size cage, and a 1000 square foot conditioning area, along with showers and locker rooms.
Why the name “Camp Undefeated”? The owners philosophy is that for a fighter two things are the most important…the second thing is their fight record. The owners of Camp Undefeated really believe in the saying: “No guts, no glory “ , and for a fighter the most valuable and useful tool they possess is #1 their fighting spirit,…the ability to get up and continue fighting even when they feel as if they cannot go on…with out that “Undefeated” spirit, no fighter worth anything. If a fighter loses that hunger or fire, his fighting career is over.
People are coming to Camp Undefeated with all kinds of goals – to compete, to win, to turn pro, to lose 10, 20, 50 pounds, to gain self-respect, or to just have a fun time getting and staying in shape- and the Camp mission remains the same. At Camp Undefeated coaches, trainers, students work together to ensure that everyone is reaching their potential and meeting or exceeding their individual goals.
