At NYU Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club, we focus on sport Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which is primarily grappling, submission chokes/holds/locks, and some takedowns. Class will start with warm up, and drills for learning good technique and familiarity of the moves. Class will proceed with the learning of new moves, and end with a session of rolling with different partners.
NYU Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club meets at the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center in the Wrestling Room. No experience is necessary, and anyone and everyone is welcome. However, Coles Sports Center does require an NYU ID: If you do not have a NYU ID, you may enter with the signature of an NYU student, a valid photo ID, and $10.
