Training in mixed martial arts is extremely challenging and rewarding. At WNY Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Kickboxing in Lockport, New York, our curriculum of classes has been developed specifically for MMA training. We cover all areas of fighting, from striking, to clinch work, throws, takedowns, grappling and submissions. We offer classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), No Gi Submission Grappling, Wrestling, Traditional Boxing, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Cardio Kickboxing, Kids BJJ & Kickboxing and Teens BJJ & Kickboxing.
We are the area’s premier MMA training facility, with our new 5,000 square foot building boasting 1300 sqaure feet of Mat Space, a 16′ Boxing Ring, a 20′ Throwdown Hexagon Cage and a separate Weight Lifting Area! We are home to the WNYMMA Fight Team, Team Saunder’s BJJ of Buffalo and Team Webster’s Kickboxing.

This place has the best assembled, most active MMA/Competition team in the WNY region. Aside from that, it’s also the most comfortable, ego-at-the-door place I’ve been to, and I’ve been to just about every gym within a 60 mile radius. Happy to call it home, happy to have such a supportive team/peer group and happy that its reasonably priced!
Corey is a freakin beast for the striking program and works well with anyone from a total beginner to a pro fighter. The fact that hes down to earth and a genuinely good person speaks volumes for progress. He works exculsively with WNY’s #1 kickboxer and most popular boxing instructor (Juan) so his material is fresh and accomidating.
Dubs does his Jiu Jitsu homework like a damn scientist. He constantly evolves and doesn’t get stuck into a traditionist style frame of mind that hinders so many other instructors.
Brad (for wrestling) is top notch and breaks things down in simple, easy to use and incorporate terms. Seeing him in competitions, you know he’s at the top of his division which proves his practice works.
In my opinion, WNY Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Kickboxing is the best gym in the area. The operators run a professional facility geared to the needs of the hardcore MMA fighter, as well as offering programs for children in a safe and clean environment. I have had the pleasure of attending WNY Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Kickboxing for the past year, and I am more than satisfied with the instruction, facility and their fitness programs.
I highly recommend WNY Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Kickboxing to start your journey in Martial Arts.
GoodLuck!
Has a large student body ranging from recreational players to amateur and professional fighters. Modern training facilities and accomplished instructors. Good atmosphere all around.
Instructors work great with everyone and are awesome ay catering to the individual as well as the class… I’ve improved so much in the short time I have been training there!!
BEST GYM EVER! everyone is nice there and it’s an awesome work out and very helpful!
I haven’t been to any other MMA gyms to train, but I doubt any could compare. The training has had so many effects on my life and lifestyle. All the trainers make a point to push you when you need pushed, coach when ya need coached and so forth. I have been training for a couple months and nothing could ever get me to go elsewhere. Thanks dudes!
p.s. Proof is in the doing. Their fight team went 4-2 overall in last night of competition and showed unequaled cardio endurance and discipline in their matches.
This is a great Gym! The environment is friendly and welcoming..I go twice a week sometimes 3 times and I constantly see the Instructors giving individual attention (a lot of times out of their own personal time ) to whoever seeks it. The instructors are passionate about their respected sports and not only teach but also participate in competition.
The Gym has the attitude that “we want you to get better, so we can all get better”. There are no stupid questions. This carries over to the students. You will constantly see students working with each other helping one another get better at whatever it is they need help at. Their aren’t any egos at this gym. You will feel great about yourself after class…I have never felt so confident in my life.
