New York Budokan in Brooklyn, New York, is home to a variety of Martial Arts taught by highly experienced Instructors. We offer classes in the following: Fuji Ryu Ju Jutsu, Tae Kwon Do/Karate, Three Treasures Tai Chi, Jeet Kune Do, Yoga, Koga Ryu Ninjutsu, Pilates, Hip Hop Dance and Japanese Sword Fighting Chanbara/Goshindo.
Our Fuji Ryu Jujutsu program utilizes modern fighting techniques combined with traditional principles for defense against armed/ unarmed single and multiple attackers. As a student of Fuji Ryu Ju Jutsu you will receive expert instruction in the art of self-defense as you develop confidence and alertness while getting a dynamic workout! Offers classes to adults and children. Trial classes are on Mondays only!
Ninjutsu is the art of stealth and perserverance. Properly known as shinobi-jutsu, ninjutsu taught its practitioners – today known as Ninja – many techniques, tactics, and strategies for becoming “invisible” to evade the enemy. The Ninjitsu taught at the NY Budokan encompasses over 36 different and independent Ninja Arts taught in 3 basic categories: Taijutsu – Unarmed fighting arts including striking, kicking, throwing, grappling & pressure points; Bukijutsu – Armed fighting arts including swords knives, sticks, chains, throwing stars, firearms, etc.; Shinri-gake – Mental skills including, hypnoses, face and character reading and deception.
