Greenville Academy Mixed Marital Arts

At Greenville Academy of Mixed Martial Arts, in Greenville, North Carolina, we teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, MMA, and Submission Wrestling.  The core of our grappling system is Royce Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Jiu-Jitsu concentrates on dominating your opponent by using angles, leverage, and superior body positioning to control an opponent’s body movement.  A person that has a superior position is in a better situation to apply a finishing hold or to start striking.

Whatever your personal goals are, our instructors will bend over backwards to help you accomplish them. Located at Greenville Academy Mixed Martial Arts is Greenville’s Only True MMA Gym.

I have been going to the Greenville Academy of Mixed Martial Arts for a little over a month now. I am learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wing Chun Kung Fu, and Mauy Thai Kickboxing. I started going to get back into shape after a long term illness but was suprised to find out how much fun it was to work with the knowledgable and professional staff who take time to help individual students on a one on one basis when needed. My fellow students are varied in age and skill level but all have been supportive and many have become good friends. I highly recomend this academy for anyone wanting to get in shape and looking to get serious about learning various martial art forms. Because of this gym I can now truly say, “I am a martial artist.”

My two sons have been coming to All American Martial Arts Academy for 6 months now, they have learn discipline, sportsmanship and how to defend themselves. Mr. James Speight is a great instructor. He not only teaches the kids, but he generally cares for their well-being. My two sons have enjoyed coming, they have gained confidence in their ability to learn the techniques. The instructors and the older students really help the youngsters. My two sons have joined the competition team and they really feel like a part of the team. I couldn’t ask for any better place or people to instruct our kids. Thanks a lot to James Speight for his guidance and encouragement towards the students. I would recommend the facility to anyone.
