HARD TARGET Martial Arts in Charlotte, North Carolina, opened in 2006 with the goal of bringing world-class Martial Arts instruction to the men, women and children of our community.   There are many factors to consider when choosing a Martial Arts school for yourself or your child, and we believe that HARD TARGET will exceed all of your expectations!

Our Adult Programs offer classes five days per week in Jeet Kune Do (JKD), Kali Blade & Stick Combat, Muay Thai, and MMA/Combat Submission Wrestling.   Our children’s classes, the Mini Dragons and Mighty Dragons, are designed for age groups 4 to 6 and 7 to 14. Our Dragons are taught age-appropriate self-defense techniques combined with discipline, respect, physical fitness and life lessons.

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is taught by Steve Hall of Fight to Win Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and is a Black Belt in BJJ under Master Royce Gracie.

HARD TARGET Martial Arts is a progressive school that focuses on three main areas: realistic self-defense through proper techniques and training, physical fitness through beneficial, high-intensity workouts, and mental fitness through concentration, focus and discipline.

HARD TARGET is proud to be an official Combat Submission Wrestling (CSW) Training Center, offering an MMA program that draws from a wide array of combative arts included in Erik Paulson’s CSW: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, STX-Savate Thai XrossTraining, Boxing, Jun Fan Kickboxing, Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling, Shooto, Catch-as-catch-can wrestling and Judo.  This is a true MMA program, offering a high intensity blend of mixed and art-specific classes intended to cover the sporting aspects of fighting.  Students are welcome to compete in MMA or no-gi grappling as part of Team HARD TARGET.  Get the scoop on current team events and stats at: www.TeamHardTarget.com
