Our Strength and Conditioning class is a great way to “jump start” your workout routine. We combine some aspects of all the classes we offer in the S&C program. Hand Weights, Medicine Balls, Weighted Plates, Jump Rope, Hand Wraps and Gloves are some of the items we may use in a class. If you are looking for a fast way to see results this is the class for you. Even if you are a pro and just want to improve your strength and conditioning, this is a great class to try. Be ready to sweat!
Thai boxing, or Muay Thai, is a traditional art of self-defense from Thailand. Muay Thai was developed in Southeast Asia and has grown popularity in the United States for its realistic combative techniques. Muay Thai has been called “The art of eight body parts”, meaning the use of two hands, two elbows, two knees, and two feet. Rules and regulations imposed to keep it a safe full-contact competitive sport may have lessened its full range of deadly hand-to-hand combat. However, we can safely say that Muay Thai of today is still one of the most effective fighting systems in the world.
The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class will provide each student with a solid foundation in the principals and foundation of BJJ. BJJ being a grappling art includes not only standing self defense, but also ground fighting techniques. Classes will focus on the fundamentals of takedowns, positional control, defense, and submission moves. These include areas such as mount, side mount, back mount, guard, half guard, knee on belly, and north south.

The emphasis of Chinese Freestyle Kickboxing/San Shou/Sanda is on realistic fighting ability, and not the ability to perform elaborate forms. San Shou addresses the three ranges of fighting: kicking, punching and throws/takedowns which adds realism to the sport. The practitioner of this art has at their disposal not only the vast array of striking skills with punching, elbows, edge of the forearm, kicking and knee strikes but also the mastery of the skills of taking down an opponent through tripping, sweeping and throwing. You will learn how your body can move!
