Sommai Muay Thai Academy in Morrisville is the Triangle’s most authentic Muay Thai camp. Our head instructor is Aaron “the Ghost” Fisher, who has over a decade of fighting and training experience along with a passion for teaching that is second to none. During Aaron’s amateur career, he has fought for and held amateur titles in organizations such as the W.K.A. the U.S.K.B.A. and the F.F.A.A. Upon turning pro, Aaron traveled to Thailand to live and fight for two years, winning a local stadium title there as well.

Our classes usually start out with a warm-up, stretching, and shadowboxing. After that, depending on what level class it is, we’ll progress to bag work, pad work, clinching, and technique partner drills. At the end of the class we’ll cool down with ab work and push ups. Depending on your level and desire, sparring may be included in the class. We believe in keeping muay Thai fun and exciting so every day we mix it up, so that you are never bored.

Sommai Muay Thai Academy accepts all levels of students, from total beginner to the seasoned vet. We also develops fighters for the amateur and professional level. If competing is something that you would like to do, please speak with our head instructor, Aaron “the Ghost” Fisher.
