Young Guns Boxing Academy in Hendersonville, North Carolina provides over 3,000 square feet of training space. We have a full size boxing ring, eight hanging bags, three double end bags, three speed bags, gloves, ropes, weights, kettleballs and sandbags. We also have a grappling area. We have created a family friendly environment and encourage all ages to get involved and have fun. Our members range from 6 year old beginners to Golden Glove champions.

Coach Chris Sawtelle, Head Boxing Instructor, fell in love with the sweet science at 13 years old. He has won regional and multiple state boxing championships in Florida. He won the Southeast regional title in 1995. In 1997, Chris won the Virginia state golden gloves. Coach Chris has had the honor of boxing several outstanding fighters such as Antonio Tarver and current Cruiserweight champ, Steve Cunningham. Chris created Young Guns Boxing Academy because he wanted to provide a training space for the community. A space that was professional and helped members reach their goals. Whether it’s weight loss or starting a professional boxing or MMA career, Chris and the academy are here to help.
