Head Instructor/Owner Curt Crawford opened the gym in 2004 with the help of his good friend Evan Tanner.  Evan came up with the name, made signs, and helped Curt set up the equipment.  He hired Curt as his boxing coach for his fights with Phil Baroni (twice) and Robbie Lawler.  Soon after, he left Team Quest and trained full time with Curt.  With Curt in his corner, Evan became a UFC Middleweight Champion in 2005 after defeating David Terrell by TKO (punches).

We miss our friend Evan.  But although he’s no longer with us, we take comfort in knowing that his message lives on.  Believe in the power of one.
