Pennsylvania Combat Sports is undergoing renovations for its planned opening in the summer of 2010. The transformation from a furniture showroom, into what will be a mecca for martial arts and elite fitness in Pennsylvania, is currently in full swing. With a multi level training environment, stretched across 15,000+ square feet of space, things have been quite busy since last spring.

The new facility is located in Greensburg. A massive city maintained parking lot sits directly across the street from us, which along with our own lot in the rear, means parking will never be an issue. The site also provides easy access to several main highways and is in close proximity to some widely used tracks and trails for running and biking. Located in the “Gateway District” puts us in the middle of what is becoming a unique and extensive redevelopment. With Seton Hill University only about a mile away, it will be very likely that the CrossFit Affiliate gym will set a new benchmark for performance amongst college athletes.

The plans for PACS include complete shower and locker room facilities for men and women, sauna, pro shop, waiting area, multi-level training, and wifi internet. With a full size event cage, regulation boxing ring, 5,000 sqft of matted training space, more heavy bags than you could imagine, and throwing dummies…basically if you can name it, then it’ll most likely be there. While it may seem like overkill, we truly believe the more tools that athletes have at their disposal for training, the more confident and conditioned they will be on event day.
