Dickson Mixed Martial Arts is the MMA program offered by Shin’s Martial Arts Academy in Dickson, Tennessee. We are also the home of the Dickson MMA Freedom Fighters, and a proud member of the United Fighters Alliance. Master Instructor Guy B. Ogburn, and Master Instructor Bunny Hawkersmith have studied directly under Grand Master Shin, for 33 years. Together, they have watched in excitement as the UFA has grown all over the Southeastern United States as a premier example of Mixed Martial Arts training in combining like minded gyms and clubs into a unified organization.

For the first six months of Guy’s training with Master Shin, the fledgling school gave Master Ogburn the opportunity for private daily lessons. The deep seeded tradional training they began in October 1977, has developed into a life long dedication to each other and the arts they love, and desire to share with those around them. They have traveled around the world in unity, practicing their arts together. This knowledge and philosophy have truly touched the lives of many, and they continually strive to help those in need. Whether these needs are physical, mental, or Biblical. Under this expert instruction students strive toward self improvement and ways to live a more productive and satisfying life.
