Since our inception in 2002, Texas Powerhouse MMA has taken the training of both amateur and professional fighters seriously. But, these fighters are only a small portion of the individuals who train here. Texas Powerhouse MMA strives to create an open environment for all those interested in the sport, at any level. In fact, most students attend classes just for enjoyment, to get a serious workout, or to be around other supportive individuals.

We deliver a comprehensive martial arts system that combines classic Muay Thai boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Submission Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts. Women and Men, fighters and beginners benefit from training that delivers ultimate fitness and the most competitive mixed martial arts system available. We now have two locations to better serve you. One on the northwest side of San Antonio and one on the north central side of San Antonio.

Texas Powerhouse MMA has also been a place where many have come to deal with serious struggles in their lives. Most have found that the experience of training, developing discipline, and becoming a mixed martial artist within the school walls has helped them make major changes outside the school as well.

Our student base is extremely varied in both age and background. If you are looking to fight in MMA or compete in Jiu Jitsu, our instructors will help you reach your goals through a beginner-friendly, progressive curriculum. This curriculum is designed to challenge athletes at all levels.
