Mori Academy of Martial Arts, located in Roy, Utah, is for everyone men, women and children. There are many reasons to train in the martial arts (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing). Whether yours is to lose weight, become stronger, increase your endurance, improve flexibility, want to learn how to defend yourself, or compete in a Grappling or MMA event. These classes provide a rigorous workout, as well as instruct students to better understand how to defend themselves.

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes cover a variety of self defense techniques. Whether defending against a punch, kick, takedown, or joint manipulation, these classes instruct students to become well rounded. Strength, Size, and Speed no longer have to be the determining factors to overcome your opponent.

Eduardo Mori, Head Instructor, is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, specialist in Muay-Thai kickboxing, Kyokushin Karate, and former No Hold Barred Fighter. Eduardo has been living in Utah for the past six years teaching and training fighters. He has continued to go back to Brazil to perfect his skills with some of the best fighters in the world. With 17 years experience, Eduardo has devoted himself to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. With his background and familiarity in the “no- rules” setting, Eduardo has been able to train outstanding fighters for Jiu-Jitsu/Grappling competition and No Hold Barred fighting.
