Oak Hill Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, located in Oak Hill, West Virginia, is a top notch gym that offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and everything needed to be a successful competitor in today’s mixed martial arts arenas (Rather your goal is to compete of just to have fun and get in shape). Our school is located just five minutes from the outdoor mecca of the New River Gorge. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners visiting the area are encouraged to contact John Esker for training and complimentary outdoor activities including rock climbing, kayaking, and rafting.
The head instructor of Oak Hill Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, John Esker, has a wealth of experience and ability that he is able to relay to his members. These attributes help each member progress and get the best out of their training each and every day. John received his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from the legendary Royce Gracie. A few years later, he was able to reach the prestigious rank of BJJ purple belt when he was awarded his new belt by Butch Hiles and Marcello Monteiro.
Oak Hill Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an affiliate of Butch Hiles’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & MMA, also known as Advanced Boxing, Kickboxing, & Jiu-Jitsu, with locations in Charleston, Bluefield, Parkersburg, Glenville and Logan.
