Tracy Hess is not only the head instructor of this nightly class, he is also the founder of Subfighter Training Academy, Inc. Tracy is a veteran in the sport of MMA, participating in King of The Cage, Shooto, Warriors Quest, Gladiators Challenge and Kage Combat. Tracy comes with a wealth of experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as he earned his brown belt under Chris Brennan and Jeremy Williams. Our class provides a well balanced mix of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Wrestling, and plyometrics, with a heavy emphasis on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Tracy is a Black Belt in BJJ under Chris “The Westside Strangler” Brennan, veteran of KOTC, Shooto and Gladiator Challenge with a professional record of 5-1. His assistant instructor is Albert Rios, who is a Purple Belt BJJ, and a veteran of Affliction, Bellator, COF Champion, Shooto, and Gladiator Challenge with a Professional record of 12-4.
