Greg Jackson’s camp just got better with the addition of UFC light heavyweight, Jon “Bones” Jones. Latest update from mmagroundnpound.com:
UFC light heavyweight Jon Jones, one of the top prospects in all of MMA, has joined Greg Jackson’s MMA team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jackon’s team boasts some of the best fighters in the sport including Georges St. Pierre, Rashad Evans, Keith Jardine, Nate Marquardt, and Donald Cerrone.

The 22 year-old Jones boasts a MMA record of 9-0, and is 3-0 in the UFC with wins over Andre Gusmao, Stephan Bonnar and Jake O’Brien. He has been training will smaller camps including Tristar Gym in Montreal, Canada, but will now step up to one of the greatest camps in MMA. Jones was a junior college wresting champion Iowa Central Community College, but has also shown good striking skills in the UFC so far.

Jackson had this to say about Jones joining his team:

Jon Jones has joined our team and he’s out here training. He’s just a pleasure to work with. He’s incredibly creative. That he’s got so far with his creativity is amazing.

Jackson will aim to round out Jones’ game and fix any weaknesses that he finds. Training with some of the best fighters in MMA will undoubtedly sharpen Jones’ skills and make him a more dangerous fighter than he already is.
