Loading...Self Defense America (SDA) in Alabaster, Alabama, is a mixed martial arts (MMA) school dedicated to the study of the self defense sciences and furthering the competition of sports such as Combat Hapkido, Taekwondo, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Submission Wrestling, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and a variety of Mixed Martial Arts.
The instructors of SDA currently hold certification under the World Martial Arts Alliance (WMAA), the Christian Karate Association, the International Combat Hapkido Federation (ICHF), Defense Services International (DSI), the Military Combatives Association (MCA), International Police Defense Tactics Institute (IPDTI), the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), the American Taekwondo Association (ATA), the World Traditional Taekwondo Union (WTTU), and the Independent Taekwondo Association (ITA).
The gym contains a 20 ft. cage, 1,000 sq. ft. of Zebra mats, full weight bench, free weights, stationary bikes, heavy bags, light bags, speed bags, bounce bags, jump ropes, plyometric equipment, sparring gear, fans, and lockers.
