AMMS South Bay/Torrance, located in Hawthorne, California, is the third branch of the Academy of Mixed Martial Science in West Los Angeles. More than a typical Muay Thai or MMA Gym, AMMS is a martial academy, similar to a private school.
Our Adult MMA & Muay Thai members and Kids Karate students become part of a tradition, a lineage, and a lifestyle, testing through several ranks and following a precise and intricately developed curriculum to not only develop the most well-rounded martial arts practitioners, but to develop more confident, thoughtful, and self-aware human beings.
AMMS is an affiliate school of The United States Muay Thai Association, with certified trainers and executives from USMTA. In addition to Muay Thai, AMMS instructors come from a variety of renowned lineages in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Kickboxing, Karate and other martial arts.
