Joao comes from a long line of Black Belt Instruction via 4th degree Black Belt ADILSON JORGE DE LIMA (BITTA) whom founded Gracie Barra Clube De Pitbull in Teresopolis Brazil and has produced over 100 Champion Level Black Belt fighters including Joao Cunha, Johann Carvalho, Marco Nascimento, and many others.
