Loading...Darcio Lira Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is located in Pleasanton California. Our instructor, Darlynson Lira, is a former MMA fighter and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Champion from Fortaleza, Brazil. Darlynson Lira is now offering Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in California with a FREE two week trial of his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Mixed Martial Arts program.
Our school believes in teaching new world martial arts techniques with traditional aspects such as formal respect, discipline and values. Darcio Lira Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has a family environment and welcomes complete beginners to experienced Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters. Darlynson Lira also offers kids classes with one of the Bay Area’s most celebrated competition teams. Lira Jiu Jitsu has been awarded the top team at many tournaments in California and has many competitive MMA competitors.
Sensei Darlynson Lira is the oldest son of Master Darcio Lira, a 9th degree red belt. Sensei Darlynson is a 5th degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt with 22 years dedicated to martial arts and 18 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Sensei has international experience teaching, competing, and conducting seminars in France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and Brazil. Sensei Lira has been leading the Darcio Lira US Fight Team to multiple victories in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu such as the Gracie Open, US Open, World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championship, and many other local tournaments. We look forward to having you on our team. Currently, Sensei Lira’s brother, Carlos Eduardo “Ta Danado” Rocha, is a UFC fighter and was awarded 2010’s best MMA competitor in Germany. The Lira name in Brazil is well respected as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts and self defense association and now we are bringing our reputation and skills to teach martial arts enthusiasts in the states.
Our school is located inside of Elite MMA Training Center, so if you are interested in Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, or wrestling, we are one of the largest schools in the Bay Area. We hope to see you on the mat!
