Although we are a “family” diverse in age and gender we share the same goal: To evolve in all aspects of life through Jiu-Jitsu. Gracie Barra Sorrento Valley, the area’s premiere Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school, was founded in 2010 by Mark “Doze” Bursztyn and Ryan “RyRobb” Robinson. Initially based out of Gracie Barra Encinitas, the two wanted to continue to spread the teachings of Master Carlos Gracie, Jr. and decided to open a school in the Sorrento Valley area.
