Since our inception in the 1980’s, the Long Beach Khmer Kickboxing Center has built a strong reputation for our extremely technical and advanced training. Our training encompasses the original kickboxing art of Pradal Serey Khmer, Muay Thai, and Boxing. Children, women, teens, adults, law enforcement, and seniors continue to enjoy what Long Beach Khemer kickboxing has to offer.

Master Oumry Ban has owned and operated Long Beach Khmer Kickboxing for over 25 years. Professor Oumry Ban was the Bantam weight National Champion from 1970-1975. He won his first fight with a knock out at the age of 14. Master Oumry brings a total of 309 bouts to The Long Beach Kickboxing Center. Of his 278 wins, 200 were by way of knockout. With 200 being a significant milestone, immediately after his 200th knockout, Master Oumry decided to turn his attention toward training others and sharing the gift of Khmer Kickboxing with those who were interested.

Ron Smith is a senior Muay Thai Kickboxing Instructor at The Long Beach Kickboxing Center with over 15 years of instruction. Ron is also a professional promoter with resources and contacts nationally and internationally. He is a veteran practitioner of Muay Thai, Boxing, Tan Soo Doo Karate, Chinese Kenpo Karate, and Judo. Ron has foughtfor the Professional Heavy Weight Boxing title in Tokyo, Japan in 1992. He has fought for 4 title bouts in California and Mexico. He has fought in counless tournaments in California and Hawaii. Ron is responsible for training Manson Gibson, who is a world champion with 9 titles.
