Loading...The Academy of the Martial Arts School, located in the Miramar area in San Diego, California, and is considered one of the city’s premier mixed martial arts and self defense schools specializing in Kenpo, Ju-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Tai Chi, Escrima, Mixed Martial Arts and Street Smart combat techniques. Master Linekin’s primary mission in his teachings is to provide his students a variety of eclectic martial art styles that will produce a well rounded martial artist.
Parker Linekin’s Academy of the Martial Arts has been serving San Diego for 35 years. Grandmaster Parker Linekin has been studying and teaching Martial Arts for over 45 years in San Diego and is the founder and head instructor of The Academy of the Martial Arts.
Our school teaches regular group, private and seminar classes to the community. We teach street smart self defense. We have been teaching rape and abduction prevention, bully proofing and stranger danger to the community since 1972. We have given classes to women’s clubs and the boy and girl scouts in Scripps. We have marched in the 4th of July parades and won several first place ribbons over the years. Master Linekin often donates his time and teaches many of his classes for free. Master Linekin believes it’s his duty to give back to the community that has given so much to him.
