Cassio and Terry offer both Gi and No-Gi insruction in a clean, safe, and friendly enviroment. Maxwell Jiu Jitsu welcomes all new-comers to two free introductory classes.
Terry Maxwell has been practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 14 years and has competed and won numerous titles within the sport. He is a Pan American champion, Copa Pacifica champion, U.S. Open champion, and has many other titles to his name. He was instrumental to the introduction of this martial art to the Sacramento area. He is a certified Cassio Werneck affiliate and very proud of this distinction, as it is not easily obtained. He, along with his son Davin, are the head coaches at South Sac Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy and Matsumoto’s Warrior MMA. He plans to make his mark on the competition scene with his team of young up-and-comers!
