Our Stapleton Academy is also home to Muay Thai of Colorado, with Instructor Oscar Martinez, a veteran of Muay Thai with numerous fights, and various championship titles, and a certified instructor through the Muay Thai Academy of America, and is a licensed corner man for both professional and amateur fighter throughout the state of Colorado. Oscar currently teaches and helps train fighters for Colorado Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Academy Instructor Sean Stewart began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor David Ruiz in 2004 and has been studying the Art with dedication ever since. Winning 1st place gold at a number of tournaments in Colorado (including multiple Fight To Win and RMBJJF gi and no-gi tournaments), not only has Sean learned to perform the techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu against live, uncooperative, fully resisting opponents, but he has been taught specifically how to teach the Art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by Professor Ruiz, just as Professor Ruiz was specifically taught to teach the Art by Rorion, Royce, and Helio Gracie.
