Loading...We have a great location and wonderful facility in Enfield, Connecticut, for Team Link. For those of you who do not know who Team Link is… its the training camp that UFC Veteran Gabriel Gonzaga and WEC Champion Paulo Fiho train with.
This training camp is headed by Marco Alvan, who pioneered the teaching of Brazilian Ju Jitsu in Western MA. He came to us from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2001. He has studied BJJ since the age of seventeen and holds a Black Belt from Master Carlos Augusto, who is a 4th degree Black Belt under Master Reylson Gracie. Marco Alvan also holds a purple belt in Judo. He has more than 14 years experience in teaching and competing in championships in Brazil.
Brazilian Ju Jitsu is the most effective Martial Art today! If you can’t defend yourself in a standup or ground fight… you can’t defend yourself. BJJ is a real martial art for real street situations or competition. You will learn the best in quality technique, control, and effectiveness within a fun environment.
We have specific BJJ & Grappling classes that are designed to meet the needs of a brand new student that is attending for the very first time. Many new students believe they should be in shape before they start BJJ classes. That is the furthest from the truth. You will absolutely love the easy and relaxed environment we have created. It will allow you to come in and learn no matter what type of shape your are in.
In our program you will progress at your very own pace. We understand that everyone learns differently. It doesn’t matter if you want to train once a week or everyday we have a program that fits your needs.
